Linda's obituary

Linda Nunamaker, 77, of Villa Park, IL, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1948 in Omaha, NE to William and Irene. Linda is survived by her husband, Larry; her daughter, Sue; her daughter-in-law, Michelle; beloved cousins; nieces and nephews; and many treasured friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Bill; her parents; brother, Gary; sister-in-law, Billie; and nephew, Tom.

Linda was very dedicated to her job as a receptionist at Easter Seals DuPage for the last 27 years. She greeted everyone with her ready smile and treated everyone with unending empathy, patience, and compassion.

Linda had many interests and hobbies, like cooking and baking. However, her heart was in crafts and creating. From her sketchbooks to her craft show business, to her quilts and knitting, her family has many memories to keep them warm both figuratively and literally.

Linda will be remembered for her kindness, perseverance, selflessness, but her family will greatly treasure how she loved them.

A visitation, memorial service, and reception will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at St. Peter’s UCC, 125 West Church St., Elmhurst IL 60126. Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm with the memorial service at 12pm and reception to follow.
