Linda Elaine Moss was born January 2nd 1949 in Chicago, IL. She was the 4th child to Fred Hatchett Sr and Wanda Beatrice Hatchett. Linda graduated from William Wells High School in 1967. She was introduced to Edward Moss and were married on Sept 7th 1968 at Holy Family Church. The couple was blessed with three children Corey, Andre and Alexis Moss.

Linda loved to crochet, sew and shop on QVC and HSN. She would always call her sisters or her daughter to watch and shop with her. Also, she loved to watch her Old Western movies. Linda loved to take cross country road trips and attend family reunions.

She was a devoted wife and mother and well respected of her friends. On Sunday November 8th, 2020 at Kindred Hospital Linda transitioned to be with the Lord. She leaves to cherish of her memory a loving husband Edward Moss, her three children Corey (Jerri) Moss, Andre (Olesia) Moss and Alexis (Naif) Ibrahim and her Nephew Miles Nelson. Three grandchildren Cartier, Ashley and Alexander Moss; five sisters Bernice (Aaron) Mathis, Anita (Eric) Sawyer, Ceola, Pamela and Beverly and one brother Irish Hatchett.

Her parents and brothers Leonard Hatchett, Fred Hatchett Jr and Herbert Hatchett preceded her in death.
