Thank you so much for everyone's support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers or gifts, we'd appreciate your donation to the Linda May Johnson Memorial Fund.
The purpose of the Linda May Johnson Memorial Fund is to advance laws and services that benefit people and families affected by mental illness.
For almost 14 years, Linda lived in recovery successfully from addiction and severe mental illness. Over the years, she benefitted from the support she received from a variety of caregivers, counselors, providers, and programs.
The Linda May Johnson Memorial Fund aims to further the mission of programs and providers that serve people recovering from homelessness, addiction, and severe mental illness.
Linda's brother, Steven, and her case manager, David Fong, are preparing to submit a bill proposal which seeks to address some of the factors that contributed to her death.
If donations exceed $10,000, we plan to work with the Hawaii Community Foundation in managing the Linda May Johnson Memorial Fund.
