Linda's obituary
Linda Wilson, born February 22, 1953, passed away on July 19, 2025. She leaves behind a loving family that includes her sons Timothy Zeise and Ricco Dorr, and her daughter Marissa Pironti. She was formerly married to Michael Pironti. Linda's legacy continues through her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Antoinette Cortese', and her brothers, Raymond Cortese' and Robert Cardwell. A vibrant and spirited woman, Linda had a unique personality that was marked by her fun-loving, larger-than-life persona. In her eyes, life was an adventure full of experiences to be sought and enjoyed, a belief she shared with her children and those around her.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held on August 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Life Care Center of Michigan City. It will be a time for loved ones to gather, remember, and honor Linda’s remarkable life.
Linda graduated with an Associates in Child Development from Richard J. Daley College in 1992. She moved to Michigan City, IN, in 2012 and took joy in her favorite local spots including the Blue Chip Casino and Four Winds Casino.
Throughout her life, Linda had numerous passions. She loved Canoilli and Milk shakes. She enjoyed listening to Heart and Fleetwood Mac, and watching The Price is Right. Her favorite film was The Wizard of Oz, and she admired the artwork of Van Gough. Linda was an avid supporter of the Bulls sports team and she loved playing slot machines. Among her favorite performances to watch were Olympic gymnastics, and she found joy in recreational activities like gambling and sightseeing.
Linda believed in exercising to keep one’s spirits high and her favorite way was through rolling. Her favorite vacation spot was California. She was passionate about preventing animal cruelty and her favorite color was red.
One of the best lessons Linda shared was, "Be kind because karma is a real bitch!" One of her greatest accomplishments was raising her children as a single mother. Her legacy will be remembered through her words, "Stay strong my children!" Her son, Timothy William Zeise, beautifully summarized her impact by saying, "There will never be another like her and my heart will forever be hollow without her, I'll miss her dearly, love always, your Golden Child."
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
