It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Ann Lofdahl on July 18, 2024, at the age of 73.

Linda was born on August 16, 1950. She was a free spirit, an adventurous soul who lived life on her own terms. In her early twenties, she moved to the Middle East, embracing the culture and experiences with open arms. It was there that she gave birth to her son, who, sadly, preceded her in passing. Despite suffering unthinkable loss and losing too many loved ones along the way, Linda prioritized adventure, fun, and laughter. She persisted and collected great friends and experiences until the end.

Linda had perfected the art of entertaining guests, and her home was always filled with laughter and conversation. She prepared the best quiche and Swedish meatballs ever made. Her creative side shone through in projects such as fixing and flipping homes, gardening, and even winemaking for a western Illinois winery.

Linda adored her family, always doting on her grandchildren, and she was proud to share pictures and stories of their latest adventures. Most recently, she met a wonderful man with whom she spent her last year enjoying travel, walks, and beautiful sunsets. He spent several weeks collecting descriptions of Linda from her friends to share with our family, and we are so grateful.

We will miss her always and promise to carry forward her legacy of fun, adventure, and caring for and nurturing others. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Linda asked that no formal service be held, but please do celebrate her life in any way you find comforting.
