Linda's obituary
In Loving Memory of Linda Lammers Chapman
Linda Lammers Chapman, aged 58, departed from the Monte Vista neighborhood on July 23, 2023. She left behind a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness that touched the lives of many. A celebration of her life is scheduled to take place on July 31, 2023, at 11:00 am at Sunrise Baptist Church. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed on the Sunrise Baptist Church Facebook page. Following the service, a procession will lead to Highland Cemetery, where Linda will be laid to rest next to her beloved parents. A reception will be held afterwards at Sunrise Baptist Church, providing an opportunity for friends and family to come together and honor her memory.
Linda's life was marked by significant relationships, and her love for her children, Crystal Davison and Austin Spelts. Linda had an overwhelming amount of pride in Crystal’s pursuit and success in her education. She adored her grandson, Landyn, and her eyes would light up whenever they were together, cherishing the time they shared. Linda's heart was filled with love not only for her immediate family but also for her daughter-in-law, Jessica Spelts. She took pride in witnessing the blossoming relationships that surrounded Landyn, as Austin and Jessica coparent with Bailey and her new husband.
Throughout her life, Linda maintained a close bond with her siblings and parents. She was the youngest of seven children, and the love she had for her nieces and nephews knew no bounds. Her loyalty to her parents, Mary and Jerry Lammers, was unwavering. Linda had a special place in her heart for animals as well, and her dogs were an integral part of her life.
Professionally, Linda dedicated much of her life to managing the dental office of Dr. John Logan. She treated her patients as if they were her friends, demonstrating her caring and compassionate nature in every interaction.
Linda was a woman of immense faith, and her love for the Lord was evident in everything she did. She always wore a cross necklace close to her heart, a symbol of her devotion. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate circle, as she had a special place in her heart for the elderly. When visiting assisted living or nursing homes, Linda would brighten the lives of those she met with her warm smile and kind words.
In remembrance of Linda, her family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made through a Everloved.com account to assist with expenses. Please see the link below.
