Remembering Linda on her Birthday. I was so blessed to have her in my life. I am remembering her smile, her laugh and our discussions about chronic illness. Thank you Linda-always.

Renee Miller
1972, Edinboro University and Erie, Pennsylvania
Linda was the first person I met at 17 years of age, when I arrived at Edinboro University. She said, "Hi, welcome to Edinboro!" I had never had anyone say or do anything like that before and was stunned. I had my 18th birthday in November and Linda made me a poster she named "The Many Faces of Renee." She knew me even with me hiding my life and keeping myself closed off from others. I knew then and in the many years that followed, that she was the most special person I would ever meet. I was absolutely proven correct. She never forgot a birthday or holiday, made me laugh and knew me better than I knew myself. I learned to trust another human being because Linda taught me that I could trust her. I learned to care and give more to others because she gave so much to me. I am and have been forever grateful of the honor of her choosing me for a friend.

Jim , Renee and family, We are so sorry to hear about Linda and sorry have not written sooner. Linda was such a good friend. We loved the talks we would have on the phone. We met Linda and Jim through the Cerbral Palsy Center many years ago . She was such a delightful person , always joking , laughing and just having a good time with all the people. Russ had a special spot for Linda .She would talk to him on the phone about her health .. Felt bad for her that she just could not heal from that. We would send Christmas cards to each other . Such many fond memories of a lovely friend. Rest In Peace Linda.

My deepest condolences to Jim & Renee, and the rest of her family.
Linda was a good friend for over 40 years. She was very personable so along her way, everyone she met became a friend to her. In remembering some things, she enjoyed her garden, sunbathing at the beach, reading, and musicals, even seeing several in person - she loved the songs.
I will miss our times going out to eat and gabbing.
I know as time goes by that our fond memories of Linda will warm our hearts. Hugs.

Renee, my prayers and positive thoughts are with you and the family. Linda was a joy to work with. I was Assistant Manager at Valu. I always tried to go back when she was there if I needed anything there just to see her. Please reach out and let me know about the celebration of life.
