Linda Ann Knowles, age 66, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on December 20, 2025.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Linda’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Dave Knowles; her children, Jessica Knowles (Billy Truxton) and Jason Knowles (Margaret Knowles); and her cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Cayden. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Gary Marhoover. She is also survived by her mother, Doris Marhoover, and her sisters, Lisa Doyle (Ed Doyle) and Laura L’Italien (John L’Italien).

Linda fulfilled a lifelong dream by retiring to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. She found her greatest peace sitting by the ocean each morning, enjoying a Dunkin’ coffee and a good book. An avid collector of Longaberger baskets and snowmen, Linda also loved weekend trips to Lancaster and, above all, creating lasting memories with those she held dear.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Excelcare of Wilmington for their compassionate care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 8, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Timothy’s of Newark, 100 Creek View Rd, Newark, DE 19711.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Linda’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association.
