Linda's obituary

On February 11,2022, Linda Lou Kegley, 74, of Abingdon, Md lost her battle with neuroendocrine cancer surrounded by loved ones. Born in Dungannon, OH, she was the daughter of the late Francis Charles Weaver and Ila Marie Weaver. She started at The Equitable Trust Co. in 1974 and after several mergers retired from Bank of America as a loan officer/asst manager in 2000 after 27 years of service. She enjoyed reading, cooking, going to the beach, online shopping. Her dog Muffy and cats Angel and Izzy brought her much joy and happiness. Linda was one of the strongest/most courageous/bravest/kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the co-head of the family. Linda graduated from David Anderson High School in Lisbon, OH in 1965. After graduating, she got married and had 2 children Angela M. (Powell) Rossi and Clinton F. Powell.

Later divorced and in 1971, she met the love of her life Roger Lee Kegley married in June 1973 and they built a long life together. Roger often said "Linda picked me up lol" He was leaving the Redwood Inn in Aberdeen, Md one evening. She had just finished her shift and followed him out the door and said "Are you going my way?" Linda was a wonderful and loving wife and mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Linda was predeceased by her brothers Patrick H. Weaver (Judi), Richard T. Weaver (Carol) and her sister Leona (Cookie) I. Wilkins (John). She is survived by her husband Roger Lee Kegley, children Angela Marie Rossi (Todd) and Clinton Francis Powell (Vicki). Her sisters Grace E. Walker (Gerald), Rose M. Adams (Donald), Bonnie S. Narehood (Robert). Her grandchildren Christopher C. Bravard, Tristan M. Bravard, Stefany H. Bravard, Jacob N. Powell, Gary L. Pozoulakis, Mary E. Pozoulakis, Todd E. Rossi II, Rachel N. Rossi, and Rebecca A. Rossi, great granddaughters Ruby A. Powell and Samantha L. Barr as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
