My name is Sarah and Linda Kaye is my sister in Christ. We met at church and Bible study about eight years ago. The thing that always stood out to me was Linda’s tenacity and grit.
Linda was always motivated to make it to Bible study or any other service project that we were participating in but many times her body would fail her in the following through of that desire. But her heart was always wanting to spend more time with Jesus and surrounding herself with his love.
Linda loved her children dearly and confided with us about the struggles that she endured facing the guilt from her past mistakes. Like so many of us do.
But she loved being a mother, and she loved her children and her grandchildren dearly.
Before maxes accident she was so excited because there was a restoration that had happened in their relationship, and she felt like he was coming back to the Lord spending more time with her and asking questions she was so excited for that.
Linda never complained about her medical situation, even though she very well could have with all of the struggles that she endured, that just wasn’t the posture of her heart.
She always had a thankfulness in her heart and a gratitude towards Life, her life with Jesus.
I’m so thankful for knowing Linda, and what she displayed as an example of how to endure graciously.
I’m happy to know she’s home with the Lord, free from all of her medical constrictions and limitations living her best life with her dear son, Max

I had the privilege of knowing Linda all the way back from high school. I forget exactly how and where we met but like everyone else who ever met her I wanted to know her better. I recall the summer of 71, Oshkosh, WI. and we had a date and remained close friends ever since. She had recently broke up with her best friend and HS love Mike Hetue ( spelling?, not sure first name). After that summer I didn’t see Linda for around 15 years or so and then ran into her at Binnions Horseshoe where I was bartending. We saw each other a few times over the next couple years and then nearly 10-15 years later ran into one another again at VBF (at the time) and we were both so happy to meet again saved and knowing Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It is so refreshing to know she is with The Lord, and I can’t wait to run into her again.

I never in my life, have met anyone more excited about being in the presence of Jesus! Therefore I cannot help be at peace for Linda. My condolences are for our precious Katherine who has lost so very much, and her young boys Chase and Carter. Her nephew and family, who were so very special to her. And her church family ❤️ who she cherished! You will be missed my friend Linda!
