Linda Wilson, 82, of Caseyville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on August 8, 1943, and lived a life rooted in kindness, faith, and devotion to those she loved. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Mike Wilson, who preceded her in death two years ago.
Linda was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her throughout her life. She carried that faith in the way she treated others—with compassion, patience, and a genuine kindness that made people feel welcome and valued.
She was the kind of person who never failed to make someone smile. Whether it was through a kind word, her gentle laugh, or simply her comforting presence, Linda had a way of brightening even the hardest days. She brought warmth wherever she went and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved crocheting, creating beautiful handmade pieces that her family will treasure forever. She enjoyed watching her favorite television programs and, above all else, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Those moments meant everything to her, and her family was truly the center of her world.
She faced her illness with quiet strength and grace, continuing to care for others and share her light even in difficult times.
Linda will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her love, her laughter, and her unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will continue to honor her life by carrying forward the love she gave so freely.
