Linda's obituary
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Jimenez on March 24, 2025. Born on July 6, 1951, Linda lived a life filled with laughter, adventure, and an unwavering dedication to those she loved.
Linda was the beloved sister of Rolando Jimenez, Arturo Jimenez, Roberto Jimenez, Ed Jimenez, Anita Stewart, Bettina Frianeza, and the late Manuel Jimenez. She was the cherished mother of Collette Price, who survives her. Linda was predeceased by her mother, Carina Jimenez, her father, Jose Jimenez, and her ex-husbands Johnny Price and Vernon Pineda.
Linda was well known for her warm, caring nature and her strength and determination. She had an infectious laugh that could light up any room and a love for life that was contagious. She believed in living for the day, always encouraging those around her to seek out adventure and laughter.
Linda enjoyed spending her free time traveling, attending theater, gardening, and, most importantly, spending time with her family. She often visited family across the globe and US. Her favorite vacation spots were the Philippines, Oregon, Europe, the Bahamas, and Mexico. Linda had a love for all things seafood, from lobster and oysters to king crab legs and mussels.
Linda truly enjoyed music, with Johnny Mathis, The Beatles, The Bee Gees, Michael Jackson, and Sergio Mendez being among her favorites. Purple was her color of choice, a reflection of her royal spirit and passion for life.
A funeral service for Linda will be held on April 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Incarnation Catholic Church. We will continue to honor her life with a reception at the Fuji Buffet & Grill at 1:00 PM on the same day.
Those who knew Linda will deeply miss her infectious laugh, her unconditional love, and her zest for life. We will forever cherish the memory of our dear Linda, a woman who loved wholeheartedly and wanted everyone to share in her joy.
