Linda A. Howell passed away on November 23rd, 2024 in Stow, OH, following an extended illness. Linda grew up in Stow, Ohio, graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School and attended Kent State University.  Linda was a proud resident of Mogadore. A talented stitcher, she was a long time member of the Stan Hywet Needlework Guild and Embroiders' Guild of America. Her stitching garnered her many awards at shows such as Stan Hywet, Portage County Randolph Fair and many others. 

Linda never met a stranger and was an incredible hostess. She loved her family and enjoyed hosting holidays, planning and executing every detail beautifully. In her retirement, Linda spent her time giving back to others. She volunteered for AARP, Friends of Mogadore Branch Library and Cuyahoga Falls Senior Programs. 

Linda always had a love of animals big and small. She cared for and adopted many wayward animals throughout her lifetime and supported local rescues. 

Linda is preceded in death by her father Harold Stanley, mother Marian Stanley (nee Tisher) and son Michael Howell. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jeffrey Howell, son Steven (Trina) Howell,  granddaughter Annaleigh, brother Charles (Mitzi) Stanley, sister Susan Pritchard and many nieces and nephews. 

No services to be held at this time. Donations and memorials can be made to the Rose's Rescue and Akron-Summit County Library Mogadore Branch.
