Linda Hayward-Logan, 79, of Rockland, MA, passed away on March 07, 2024 after a difficult battle with Interstitial Lung Disease.

Linda was born on February 25,1945 to Sumner and Isabelle (Becktold) Bickford in Quincy, Ma.  Linda married her first love Jim Hayward and became a devoted mother to her 3 children, Lisa Hayward O'Brien and her husband Mark of Weymouth, Michele Hayward Harrington and her ex-husband Jeffrey Harrington, of Weymouth and her son James E Hayward III and his wife Carolyn of Plymouth. Her grandchildren Jimmy, Matt, Jessica, Alex, Jared, Paige, Derek, Grace and her great-granddaughter Lainey will forever miss her.  Later in life Linda was reunited with a very dear friend that became her soul mate, Hugh Logan of Rockland.  Linda not only loved her children and grandchildren she was a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews. Although it was difficult for Linda to leave us all, her sisters may have been the hardest. Joyce Wright and her late husband Bob Wright of So. Carolina, Janis Chilingarian and her husband Greg of Whitman and Lori Kelly and her husband Jim of Abington. They loved each other always.  We will miss her smile, energy and her sense of style. 

We hope all who knew the sweet lady in red that always had a bright smile and kind words, will smile with their own memories of her.

Linda was predeceased by her father Sumner Bickford, mother Isabelle Becktold Bickford and her ex-husband Jim Hayward. 

The family will have a private celebration of Linda's life at a later date.
