Linda's obituary
Linda married her first husband, Jim Rose, and they moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon in the early 1970’s. Together, they had two children, Tim and Angie. In 1979, Linda married her second husband, Gary (Poncho) Haskins and gained children Gerald and Sandra from his previous marriage. Together, they had twins, Crystal and Mary.
During her adult life, Linda held several jobs that allowed her the social interaction that she valued. Some most notable include M&R Market, the Humane Society, Bi-Mart, Boyer’s Market, and Big R. She was also a very active volunteer for several years at the Klamath Basin Senior Center.
Linda adored time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She took great joy in cooking and preparing food and treats for others, especially all the “adopted Grandkids” at the Barrel Races. For several years, Linda enjoyed Bowling in several leagues through-out the basin. She also enjoyed road trips with her family, her favorite being those back home to visit her family in Iowa. Another favorite pastime was playing Bingo. Linda was a proud member of the congregation at Stewart Lennox Baptist Church. She dedicated herself to the ministries and outreaches of the church.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Lyle Sales and June Glassel, her siblings Duffy Sales, Eddie Sales, Buddy Fannon, and Patti Merryman, and her grandson, Justin Haskins.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 42 years, Gary (Poncho) Haskins, siblings Kenny, Richard, Donald, Lyle, Rosie, and Pam, her children and their spouses/partners Gerald and Laurie Haskins, Sandra Haskins and Jose Quinteros, Tim Rose and Kristy Cullin, Angie and Randy Weaver, Crystal Wiss and Carl Cleem, and Mary and Eric Whisenhunt, her grandchildren Teresa Bonham, Melissa Bonham, Marlaina Haskins, David Rose, Zachary Rose, and Gary Mauro, and her great-grandchildren Myles R., Brandon C., Tristan G., Easton B., Sophia R. and Brielle B.
