So many beautiful memories come to mind when I think of your fun-loving family. You have always been so kind, generous, and full of life. The kindness, wisdom, and support that you and Ralph shared over the years truly live on in your boys and are wonderful memories for us.
Linda, your smile was contagious, your kindness so big, and your laughter incredibly uplifting. Your warmth felt like being wrapped in something soft and safe, and your love was always genuine and real. You were always a good sport, always giving, always meeting others with empathy and compassion.
You shone brightly here on earth, and you will continue to shine just as brightly above.
Thank you for all the wonderful years, and for the love you showed Kaleb and Benji. They always felt so welcome in your home and truly adored you and Ralph for who you were —together and individually.
We will always carry with us the joy, kindness, and love for life that you shared so freely.
Know, we love you dearly and miss you tremendously. ❤️

Condolences to all who knew and loved Linda. She was an enormous presence at HCMC as a leader, teacher, and mentor among nurses and physicians. She touched the lives of countless patients and families. In an endlessly challenging (and sometimes demoralizing) workplace, her smile and laughter were irrepressible. All of us who had the privilege to work with Linda are better for it. One of the best!

I’m so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She was such a big presence for me as a new graduate nurse in the early 80’s. Linda taught me so much that I never learned in nursing school and made working pm’’s on 21b&c so much fun, until they dissolved our neurosurg unit. Ralph, Linda ‘Mrs G, was really special, you two were made for each other, thinking about your family, Diane ‘Vossi Bossi’.

I cannot express how much my heart aches for Ralph and her sons and grandsons. She was a wonderful giving wife, mother husband, and a wonderful friend.! we have shared many wonderful times and many difficult times and I know she is going to be missed dearly by her family and her friends.

Linda and I worked together at HCMC on the Surgical Trauma Unit for several years. We also traveled together with Jan and Karen ( nursing friends), to New Orleans where Linda grew up and met her best friend. Also Las Vegas , Lutsen, Southeast Minnesota. Great bonding and a lot of laughing. We all 4 celebrated our Birthdays in many fun ways every year. As she shared her diagnosis of cancer with us, supporting her in any way we could, tearfully and lovingly. Over the years got to know her family and attending their Christmas Music Party, with her neighbors, friends and family. We all supported each other in all our life events , and that is a huge loss for me for her not to be with us.
