Linda was a beautiful person inside and out. We met working at Sunflight Holidays in 1976. Linda phoned looking for a job and I answered the phone. We hit it off right away! Before I transferred the call to my manager I said you have to hire this one! When she was getting married she wanted to streak her hair and asked me to do it! I told her I wouldn't be good at it but she insisted - long story short - she went to a hair dresser to get it fixed! She was my best friend for 49 years. We raised our families together. Became grand parents together❤️ She was always there if I needed her and I was there for her. My children loved Auntie Linda and still do. There is too much to say over 49 years. I love you Linda and can’t believe you are gone! You boys and Tracy are staying close just like you wanted❤️ rest in peace my friend - you left a legacy for so many people who loved you

Linda was a very special human being that touched so many people with her caring nature, compassion, kindness and love of life and especially her family.
I have known Linda and Tracy since we travelled together on a Contiki trip through Europe in 1979.
We kept in regular contact & the last time was when she sent me a message at the end of November 2024 telling me she was starting her Christmas cards. I never received that card (the first time in all the years). I now know the reason! I was so shocked and saddened to read of her passing to cancer. I am having trouble coming to terms with it so I can only imagine what her family are going through.
I will miss you Linda, fly free and the legacy you have left will stay with all who cared for you. Forever in my heart.
Your friend,
Dianne

To Linda's Family - I wonder if you have any idea as to how much Linda is missed by a far and wide group of friends that knew and loved her, and were on the receiving end of her compassion, sympathy, understanding, advice, - the list goes on. You were lucky to have Linda as a much loved family member, and in honour of her friendship, I hope to re-model my outlook and personality to copy Linda's. To inherit her understanding, patience and non-judgemental attitude. I love you, Linda xx
