Linda's obituary
Linda Ivey Fleming, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 14, 2024. Born on July 10, 1948, Linda dedicated herself fully to her family and those dear to her, leaving an indelible mark on many lives.
Linda placed her faith in Jesus Christ at a young age and was baptized in her early 20s at Jefferson Park Baptist Church. She was an extraordinary woman of love and kindness. Precious memories of Linda will be cherished by her loving husband, Sidney Fleming, daughter, Tracy Fleming Moore (Scott), son, Hall Fleming (Julia), 15 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Her warmth enriched their lives along with the countless sacrifices she made in her unwavering dedication to their wellbeing.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Richard Wesley Ivey and Gladys Lovell Ivey, and six brothers and sisters.
Despite her passing, memories of Linda will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. Her legacy of love, sacrifice, and resilience will continue to inspire, providing comfort in sorrow and strength in adversity. Her presence on earth will be missed, but her memory will forever burn bright.
A visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 2 at 10 am with a memorial service immediately following at 11 at North Georgia Church located at 8 Taylor Trail, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
