Linda Faye Farmer, born Linda Allen on August 5, 1946, peacefully passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 77 in Montevallo, AL. Linda will be remembered for her loving nature and the profound impact she had on her family and friends.

Throughout her life, Linda cherished the moments spent with her partner of 25 years Thomas Tripp, son, Allen Sinks (Sheri), and daughter Andrea Sturgeon (Claude). She found immense joy in the presence of her grandchildren, Tayler Sinks (Alex), Trevor Sinks (Kaily), Mitchell Hunt, Spencer Hunt, Sarah Hunt, Jeremy Sturgeon, Joshua Sturgeon, Jared Sturgeon, Jessica Sturgeon, Jace Sturgeon, and Jasmine Sturgeon. Linda’s heart overflowed with love for her great-grandchildren, Cannon, Mila June, Jensen, Bailey, Waylon, Able and Henry.

Linda was a beacon of strength and kindness, always putting her family first. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hears of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her immediate family, Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Mary E. Allen and Ernest W. Allen, her sister Barbara Allen Stevens, brothers Michael G. Allen, J.D. Allen, and Ernest Allen Jr. as well as her nephews Nicholas Allen and Michael E. Allen.
