Linda Marie DaPra passed away peacefully at 2:30 pm on March 19, 2021after a 4 year battle with stage 4 lung cancer. She had family by her side and passed gracefully. Linda was born on October 28, 1946, to Renzo and Francis Ogliaro (MacDonald) in West New York, New Jersey where she grew up with her brother David Hatton. She moved to San Diego in 1978 with her parents and daughter Jennifer. While living in San Diego, she met Dario (Dan) DaPra and his daughters Gloria and Tina. Dario and Linda were married in San Diego in 1983 and she gave birth to their son Christopher in June of 1984. Linda was a woman with a myriad of interests. She was a long-time member of the La Mesa Soroptimists club and a lifelong supporter of animal rescues. She was a prolific and talented artist, graduating Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Design. Linda never took life too seriously and could always be counted on to find the humor in any situation, no matter how challenging. Her positive attitude was infectious and on full display during her four-year fight with cancer. In her 74 years, Linda's charisma, class, and peerless grace touched many lives. She will be missed. Linda is survived by her husband Dario, her daughter Jennifer, son Christopher and stepdaughters Gloria and Tina, and 4 grandchildren, Andreas, Ariana, Charlotte, and Ellie.
