Cat, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. You couldn't be more right, everyone needs a Linda in their lives. She made this world a better place. No matter how much time passed by, whenever I would run into her she would greet me with the most contagious smile and give me the best bear hug. There's nobody that gives better hugs than your mom did. Your mom was so loving, genuine, caring, kind and had a sense of humor that always made me laugh! She always treated me as family. My heart is broken for you and your grandma. I don't live too far from your grandma. If you or her ever need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out. Sending you hugs and all my love!

Dear Linda.
I heard that the last letter I wrote got lost in the ether, so I guess I get the pleasure of of writing you again while I remember what a truly kind and special soul you were. We hadn't seen each other for quite a few years; pretty much since I was just a kid. Having the chance to reunite and reconnect as an adult is something I will always treasure. Having shown up somewhat randomly, your open heart and arms were as if we didn't skip a beat, despite the gap of years. On this visit, of what was going to be an afternoon, ended up being months, of which myself and my dog truly cherished our time with you and yo momma, doing all the stuff - shopping, making food, hangin', watching tv, shopping, etc.. Thanks for letting me and the doggo stay at your house on the hill too, we both loved it. Although I may have stayed a bit longer than intended on this visit, and maybe others, your hospitality and love never made it seem so, and would genuinely ask when I'd be back or when I was moving there for good. As others have mentioned, you were truly a great gift giver, which I cannot argue, though I feel that my biggest gift from you was our time spent together, which I will always hold deeply in my heart. You were an inspiration of Love, Strength, and Authenticity and will be truly missed. You were always a no beat around the bush kind of person; just Linda through and through. Anyone who crossed your path knew this and loved your bold genuineness. I'll miss you and think of you often.
Keep it real Linda,
-Justin

My dear dear best friend Linda, as you are resting above I know you are watching over me and that you're my angel. Our friendship through years was golden. How lucky we were to meet as little girls and pick back up whenever we saw each other as if there wasn't a pause at all. I do remember as kids, having so much fun together and instantly became best friends in the third grade. We grew up together and as adults we would laugh and cry through life changes. Linda, you were my bff and we loved each other like sisters. I've admired you for the love of life you had and how strong and positive you made each step of tyour hard journey. I will see you one day and until then please visit me often, but you have to give me a sign so I know you're nearby!😇
I'm so lucky to have had a friend as loving, kind, caring and giving as you!!!
P.S. Please hug and kiss Ad tell him I miss him and love him deeply with all my heart.
Until we meet again, Love, your best friend Debbie
