Linda's obituary

Linda Leanna Atieh, aged 73, passed away on June 26, 2024, in Philadelphia, PA. Born on April 13, 1951, in the same city, Linda's life was a beautiful melody woven with love, family, and music.

A talented singer, Linda found her calling in music early in life. She was a prominent figure in the local music community, often seen leading the choir at Old Saint Mary's Parish and performing at various special events. Her passion for music was paralleled by her entrepreneurial spirit, which led her to a fulfilling career as a performer at private parties while volunteering her time at the local library.

Linda's hobbies included singing, reading, baking, running, and sewing, each reflecting her multifaceted personality and zest for life. She was a devout member of Old Saint Mary's Parish, where she contributed not just with her musical talents but also with her community spirit.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and music, survived by her daughter Jennifer Hughes, son Richard Atieh, cousin Lisa Brown, brother Frank Atieh, grandchildren Madison, Michela, Jack, and Connor Hughes, and her dear friend Karen Smithson. Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Atieh.

A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on July 6, 2024 12:30pm, at Old Saint Mary's Parish, Roman Catholic Church, in Philadelphia, PA. Savin Funeral Home, located at 802 N 12th St, Philadelphia, PA, is assisting the family during this time.

Linda's life was a testament to the power of passion and the warmth of community. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, leaving behind memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of her loved ones and the community that cherished her presence
