Limwel's obituary
Limwel Ocampo Canares, 49, of Marysville, WA, joined his Creator on January 01, 2023. He was born on December 12, 1973 in Meycauayan, Bulacan Philippines.
Limwel moved to the United States in 1983 and grew up in Oak Harbor, WA. He went on to study Business Administration at University of Washington. After graduation, he worked for Sprint and Swinomish Casino as technical support, before joining the Boeing Company in 2007.
Limwel was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. He was a faithful and loving husband, and a doting father to his children. He always said that his family meant more to him than anything else in the world. Limwel was a caring son, and a supportive brother. To his friends, he was the laidback, fun-loving guy who was loyal and always ready to listen. He had an easy-going nature, but he loved deeply and expressed his feelings by writing beautiful poems. His family and friends will miss his quiet strength, sincerity, and kind smile. He is survived by his wife Noemi; his children Gweneth, Allen, Sawyer and Finn; his mother Alicia; his brothers Arsenio, Dennis, and Michael; and sister Heidi.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent via the memorial page website donation link.
There will be viewing (open casket) on January 13, 2023 (Friday), at 8:30 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marysville, WA. Funeral mass service will follow promptly at 10:30 am. There will be a small reception after the mass.
