Lilly's obituary
Lilly Daisy Seavey-Glanz
2012 – December 29, 2025
Lilly Daisy Seavey-Glanz, affectionately known as “Darling Head,” took her last breath at sunrise on December 29, 2025, after a brave fight with aggressive kidney disease. She spent her final weeks as a beloved fishing companion on our local beach, visiting favorite spots, and enjoying simple pleasures. On Christmas, she cuddled close with her family. Her last hours were peaceful at home, with her mom and dad by her side.
Adopted on August 3, 2013, from Animal Rescue Movement in Middleburg, FL, Lilly was a White Maltese-Chihuahua with gentle touches of gray. She insisted on being an only child, leaving behind her devoted parents, Jonathan Glanz and Adrienne Seavey.
Sweet and sassy, Lilly had a heart that gravitated toward seniors, children, and anyone in need of comfort. She was well-traveled, visiting Florida’s beaches from Key West to Cape San Blas, Steinhatchee, and Crystal River—always loving the gentle waves of the Gulf most. She delighted in brunch on sunny patios, working her treat puzzles, and savoring slices of American cheese (she could hear cellophane from a mile away!). Her signature move was the “360”—a joyful twirl in a single bounce.
And Lilly was always dressed to impress. With an extensive wardrobe, she often wore baby clothes tailored to her petite size, turning every outing into a fashion show.
Lilly taught us the beauty of living in the moment and loving without condition. She was our sunshine, our laughter, and our quiet strength.
Farewell, sweet Lilly. You will forever be in our hearts and our stories. In her honor, donations may be made to any animal rescue, charity, or cause dear to your heart.
