I used to go to my Grammy's place when I was younger to visit, where I felt at home. I'd watch TV until I fell asleep, and of course, eat snacks. lol My siblings would too.
I clearly remember my Grammy's laugh & the way she used to say, "yoo-hoo!" haha When I had dolls, I would name them after My Grammy and her mother Violet. My daughter Jennessa has the name Lillian as one of her middle names, in memory of my Grammy. I felt safe with her, and she always treated me with kindness. I really miss being able to hug her!
My grammy Lillian had long gray hair, and I'd be like, "I want your hair when I grow up!" -Meaning when I get old too but I wouldn't dare say it that way to her. lol
No matter what anyone says, she was a good person and will forever be one of my best childhood memories. Heaven gained another angel, the 9th of December, of 2020. And, I know my Grammy Lillian is watching over us all.
You will always be missed and in my heart forever Grammy. I love you! <3
