Lillian's obituary
Lillian Martellini, 91, of Methuen peacefully passed away in the evening of March 9th, 2023. In her final moments, she was able to say goodbye to family and was supported by the wonderful staff of Holy Family Hospital.
A twin, she and her beloved late brother Carmen were born May 13th, 1931 to parents Carmine and Anna (Mesolella) Martellini, Italians who made home in the city of Lawrence. She was the last of her 3 siblings (Ralph, Rosalee, and Carmen). She took pride in spending time caring for her sister Rosalee during her last years, and visiting her twin brother Carmen at his beach house in Salisbury.

She held various jobs in the Merrimack Valley area including working for her brother in law’s (Dr. Niceforo) medical office most of her life. She was also known as the hotdog lady during her retirement job at Central Catholic after her official retirement in the mid 90’s.
Lillian enjoyed spending time at home watching tennis, betting on horses at the race track, going to church, spending time with family, and indulging in the occasional classic drink, a Burbon Old Fashion.
She is survived by her daughter Shirley Martellini of Methuen, her grandchildren Daniel Rodriguez and Natalie Pagán of New Jersey. She was also fortunate to have had 5 great-grandchildren, Michael, Nicolas, Gabriella, Dominic, and Halima, all of whom she met and got to spend much time with.
