Liliana's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Liliana "Lily" Pahl on April 9, 2024. Born on February 10, 1945, Liliana was a beacon of warmth, happiness, and undeniable love. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Fredrick Pahl, and a caring mother to her children, Robert Pahl, Anna (Pahl) Henry, and Bertha (Pahl) Lawson. Proudly she was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Robyn Lawson, Dylan Pahl, Ashlyn Henry, Abigail Lawson, Landon Henry Jr., and Cassandra Bushee.
Liliana was predeceased by her doting parents, Harold and Lucia Pahl. To her, every person she met was part of her family, a trait that was inherited from her parents. Her ability to touch the hearts of others was truly remarkable, and it was made even more apparent in the bright smiles of her loved ones.
A lover of life's simple pleasures, Liliana appreciated a good steak and potatoes or chicken parmigiana dinner. She found joy in sipping a crisp martini or a ginger ale with a splash of orange juice while listening to her favorite music by The Beatles, Backstreet Boys, and Lionel Richie. She loved watching TV shows such as Law and Order, Jeopardy, and The Price is Right and adored films like The Titanic, Free Willy, and The Notebook.
Liliana was an avid player of Candyland and Monopoly, and treasured the time spent in her garden or walking around the neighborhood. Her favorite activities were those spent with her grandchildren, where she often listened to her cherished old records. Liliana was a strong advocate for the ASPCA and St Jude’s Research, reflecting her compassionate spirit.
Liliana was admirably described as bubbly, happy, warm, and loving. She believed in the importance of understanding and always doing the best to help others. Her greatest self-proclaimed achievement was raising her family, a testament to her nurturing and selfless character.
Her favorite color was purple, just like the warm, striking color of the morning sun. Liliana's legacy continues to shine brightly through a lineage of kindness and generosity. It was her life's mission to put smiles on faces and to spread love wherever she went.
Our little Lily will be missed profoundly and remembered fondly for her unconditional love and radiant spirit. Rest easy, beautiful angel, your legacy of warmth and affection will forever continue to fill our hearts.
