It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother daughter sister friend - Liisa Mae Truesdell on Sunday April 12th 2026 in Port Moody, BC.

Liisa was born in Minnedosa, Manitoba on February 21st 1963 with her loving parents John and Ellen Grant. The youngest of 5, she is survived by her brother Blair & Leslie, and she is reunited in heaven with her Father John, her sister Lyla and her brother Mike.

She is survived by her children Grant Truesdell (Jethro & Victoria) Devin McAuliffe (Everett & Bowen) and Taylor Cameron (Amelia, Charlotte, Isla & Noah) and their families.

Wherever our mother was there was country music playing, and lots of dancing. She was kind, thoughtful, compassionate and funny. She could make friends with anyone and always reminded us a friend was just a stranger one conversation away.

She had a zest for life, having traveled to Africa at a young age to volunteer and support in aid. She loved a good party and was a sucker for any animal that crossed her path.

At the core, her children were her world, and as were all her grandchildren.

She will be eternally missed.
