In loving memory of our mother, Ligia Jeannette Herrera-Betbeder, who passed away on October 09, 2022. She was the wife of Daniel Betbeder and loving mother of Giselle, Dominique, and Alejandro Betbeder. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was also survived by her mother Griselda Brown, and her siblings, Raul, Jose, Norma, & Gustavo Herrera.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity.

Growing up, my mom was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. She was a woman of strength and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.

We will be holding a private funeral service on 10/24/2022 at 2:00 PM. Although this will be private, flowers and cards can be sent to Columbia Gardens Cemetary at 3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington VA 22201. 

A celebration of life will be held in December to share memories and celebrate the beautiful life of Jeannette Betbeder. Details will come at a later date. 

Mama, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
