Liesel Anna Witzman, 21, passed away 24 April 2019 after a single vehicle car crash in Blacksburg, Virginia. She was driving too fast and was not wearing a seatbelt. If this can be a lesson to anyone WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS!

Liesel was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter and friend. She loved her work family, and her color guard friends, her Highland Games family and her relatives fiercely. She was known to say, "I do what I want" with a little confidently crazy attitude. She had a giant heart and a sassy mouth and we love every single thing about her. She would listen, I mean really listen, and try to help anyone she could with a lilting "I got'chu". She loved big and hurt big when things didn't go well. Her smile was so bright and her laugh was so genuine the world is less without her.
