Liduvina's obituary
Liduvina Santiago Verge, affectionately known as "Lulu," passed away on March 11, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 87. She was born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico on December 2, 1937 to the late Pedro Santiago and Julia Rodriguez.
Lulu was a woman of deep faith whose strength and generosity touched the lives of many. She found joy in serving others, always offering wisdom and kindness to those around her. Her love for crocheting, reading, and most of all spending time with her family brought her great happiness.
She is survived by her beloved spouse, Alejandro Verge; her sisters Edna, Petri, and Maria ("Femi"); her brothers Pedro Julio and Eliseo; her daughter and sons by marriage: Blanca, Nando, Mario, and Luisito. She was preceded in death by her sister Eneida. Lulu also leaves behind grandchildren by marriage—Rafael, Daniel, David, Mimi, Alex, Frances, and Natalia—as well as great-grandchildren by marriage: Rafael, Siddalee, Axel Antonio, and Leangely.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. at 12302 Forest Ln., Tampa, FL.
