Lewis J. Meyer, Sr. Passed away quietly on February 20, 2022 due to recent onset health conditions. He recently moved to Chanute in 2020, and enjoyed being close to family. He attended Grace Community Church. He was a veteran and served in the army in the late 1950’s and 60’s.

He is survived by his four children, including his two son: Darin J. Meyer, and Lewis, Jr (who lives locally) , 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial services will be held at Grace Community Church. The memorial will be scheduled and announced. There will be no viewing, only celebration of his life.

Instead of flowers or gifts, the family asks that you would give to Grace Community Church in Chanute, KS. They have ministered to my father since he moved to Chanute and are allowing the memorial services at their location.
