Thinking of you often.  Your sons are all doing well...I know you were always proud of each of them.
I think of you often and am so glad to have had our two children.  They and I love/loved you very much.  Brandon is especially like you with his dry wit/humor, tendency to be stubborn at times, and a real sense of right and wrong.   Miss you soooooooo much!
The brass antique steamer trunk, that looks like one that would have traveled on the Titanic. It was in an antique store and I really liked it, although it was pretty pricy for us at the time so didn't say much about it. Then he took me back to that store on my birthday and bought it for me. It has been with me ever since and now is in my dressing room front and center. that, he bought me for my birthday. It was quite expensive for us at the time, so I didn't let on that I really liked it. I have it in my dressing room and will treasure it always. I will treasure it always.

After learning on Thanksgiving day this past year, I learned that Lew had been very ill and just got out of the hospital. At one time we had been married and had 2 boys, Brandon and Ryan together. As we had remained friends and talked often over the years, I wanted to see him to let him know I wish him a good recovery, and to offer support and caring. I was going to stay only a few minutes that day as I didn't want to tire him. He, however, seemed VERY pleased that I was there and my few minutes turned into over 3 hours. We laughed about past events with us, talked about how things might have been, and both of us cried at times about times gone by.
We both loved Christmas time/decorations. I had taken him a 4 foot lighted tree with a beautiful bow at the top for him to have next to his bed. We had many long conversations after my visit and he always said, "Your tree is lighted day and night right next to me....It was sooooo good to see you and know you care after all this time".... We talked about my visiting him again but his illness and next trip to the hospital cut time short for us. I do not believe in coincidences....Our beginning started when I met/married him years ago ,and I was able in the end to be with him in person/through telephone calls. I wish he were still here to call just to chat and see ...such a special and unique person. I miss him terribly.

I was lucky enough to have known him VERY well. A very intelligent man with so much satirical humor that would make anyone laugh and really think about the meaning behind his words.
We didn't always see eye-to-eye, but I have never stopped loving and admiring him.
I was fortunate to have many long conversations
about many things the last couple months of his life. I find it hard to believe he isn't here anymore to continue that connection
Yes, TJ, our son Brandon does look very much like him.
I miss him terribly. Love you Lew, Joy Lynn
