Levia's obituary
Levia Lynne Alford, aged 66, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 28, 2024. Born on August 29, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama, Levia came into this world as a beacon of love and the daughter of Sue Johnson and Ralph Roland Alford. She spent her adventurous youth with her siblings Robert Alford, Rhonda Jackson and Gershom Faulkner. She graduated from A.H. Parker High School in 1976 and soon settled in Dallas, TX raising two sons, Alexander Brazzle and Thomas Brazzle. Levia could be found always smiling, bringing joy and love to her friends, family and community as an avid master gardener, fitness enthusiast, sports fan, watercolor artist and trusted local guide on Google reviews.
She is survived by her siblings Gershom, Robert and Rhonda; mother Sue; sons Alexander and Thomas; sister in-law Pacherrah Faulkner, loving partner William Cooney; daughter in-law Atalanta Siegel; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at The Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Levia’s generous, loving and kind spirit touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by her family, many friends, and all who knew her.
