Levi's obituary
Levi Soriano, born on March 28, 1976, hails from Manila, Philippines. His father, Reynaldo (Rey), made the journey to Seattle, Washington in 1980. Seven years later, in 1987, Rey successfully petitioned for Levi’s immigration, along with his older sister, Lara, and their mother, Soledad (Sally). Levi was just 11 years old at the time.
He attended Nathan Hale High School and went on to study as an Automotive Service Technician. Over the years, he had built several lasting friendships with colleagues in the automotive industry as he worked for different dealerships in the Greater Seattle area, most notably Bill Pierre Ford. Levi was passionate about cars and could often be found working on cars in his spare time. As a young adult, Levi was a deejay, known as DJ LevNyse, and continued to enjoy spinning his turntables at home. He also loved the outdoors and camping with his family and close friends.
Levi's greatest joy was being a father and spending time with his three beautiful children, Nalani (11), Kino (9), and Mina (4). Anyone who knew Levi knew that he was extremely proud of all of their accomplishments and loved them more than anything. In his own words, he described them as, "My strength, My wealth."
He is survived by his parents, Rey and Sally; children Nalani, Kino, and Mina; best friend of 11 years and mother of his children, Katey Soon-Ja Neal Soriano; sister and brother-in-law, Lara and Jahmar Ticeson; nephew and niece Kaden and Alaya Ticeson; and many extended family members across the U.S., Canada and the Philippines.
