Leticia Tapia

Leticia Tapia of Watsonville, California, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on May 20, 1973, Leticia was a light in the lives of all who knew her by soft spoken, endlessly kind, and full of love.

She was a devoted wife to Miguel M. Tapia and a deeply loving mother to her son, Miguel A. Tapia. Leticia’s greatest joy came from simply being with her family. Whether it was spontaneous drives around town with her favorite music playing or magical days spent at Disneyland, she found beauty in the little moments especially the ones shared with her son.

Leticia had a heart big enough to raise not only her own child, but others as if they were her own. She gave pure, unconditional love the kind that made those around her feel safe, seen, and cherished.

Even while bravely battling cancer, Leticia remained one of the most cheerful souls you could ever meet. Her smile, her laughter, and her gentle presence were constant reminders of her strength and grace.

She is survived by her husband, Miguel M. Tapia, and her beloved son, Miguel A. Tapia, who will carry her love and light with them always.

Leticia’s legacy is one of warmth, kindness, and quiet resilience. She leaves behind memories that will be forever treasured by family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing her.
