Leslie's obituary
Leslie was born on November 13, 1953 to Joyce & Glen Menefee in Tipton, Indiana. She was the first of five siblings. She graduated from Hamilton Heights High School, Arcadia, Indiana in 1972. Later after the birth of her two children, she began the long adventure through college. Her determination and strength awarded her a place at Texas Women’s University Nursing School. Her love of helping people led to a very long career as a nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital, Houston, Texas. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. Each one of them held a very special place in her heart.
Leslie will be remembered for her kind soul, warm hugs and love for everyone. She is survived by her mother Joyce Menefee, daughter Heather(Devin)Williams, son Chris (Amy) Lavin, grandchildren Violet(Drake) Eckhart, Breana Lavin, Dahlia Williams, Bryce Lavin and Clover Williams.
She is also survived by her siblings Elaine(John)Green, Lorraine Cramer, Brian(Tammy) Menefee, David Menefee, and their children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father Glen Menefee.
In lieu of flowers, Leslie wanted for everyone to perform acts of kindness.
