Leslie Wayne was the first person Larry introduced me to besides his Mom and Dad. He was very kind, told interesting stories, and remained a part of our lives right up until someone took charge of his affairs. He knew the family history. We would laugh over the antics of larry (Halliburton's) childhood. He was my favorite relative on Larry's side next to Papaw Rocky, his dad. Leslie had that nerdy sense of humor. He IS missed

To Katherine, Kelly and I have searched for a phone number since the last time we talked to Leslie.  I have tons of pictures from their trips and Leslie was going to tell us the rest of the Cherry Valley story and help us label the pictures.  We were supposed to meet him in Memphis.  Then he was in a Nursing home.  Then we couldn't find him again.  I am SOOO sorry we missed the funeral.  He was the only family left on this side that we were close to.  I loved his long, rambling stories and all the crazy things he could tell me about Larry.  I'm so very sad I didn't get to say goodbye to him.
