My condolences to Leslie's family. I first met Leslie through our work in education in the community. Leslie was a great example of someone who was a community leader and had such a caring disposition for all of the families and students lives that she made such a profound impact on.  Elizabeth Fraley, Kinder Ready
I am so sorry for your loss of a beauty woman and devoted sister to Irene.
I well remember meeting Leslie and Larry at Calvary Church, their very first Sunday. We were meeting in the gym in those days as the sanctuary was not built. As I recall they had moved down from the Bay Area, Larry having recently completed his MBA at U of Chicago. I remember thinking, “This is an excellent couple for our church.”
It wasn’t much later that I recognized Leslie’s organizational skills. I tried to enlist her skills with heading up our planned Arts and Technology building. She passed on that situation as she was assuming more responsibility at our school. So, Tony took on the role.
Over the years I interacted often with Leslie in her role at the school. As Marketing and Admissions Director she excelled. I have often thought how fortunate we are to have someone in that role with such a professional demeanor. But it wasn’t just the professional demeanor but her spark and wit. Staff and parents loved their interactions with Leslie.
Speaking of the professional side, Leslie spearheaded the school’s most recent CUP modification. Given our politically charged environment, success was not a fait accompli. But Leslie and her hand-picked consultants achieved excellent success.
I miss our interactions. Leslie was such a gem, a one-of-a-kind. “Lord, why did you take her so soon?”

I met Leslie one time. ONCE! And she made such profound impression. The world is a better, kinder, more beautiful place because of her. To Larry and family, I am so very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Leslie's passing. Sending you all strength during this difficult time.
Dear Larry, I never met your lovely wife. I met you at Oakland Covenant where we had many fun memories in the singles group. I married Carl Johnson and  lost him in a helicopter crash after the birth of our daughter Karin. My heart breaks that you and your daughters lost their wife and mother at such a young age. Let others come along side you during this difficult time. May you feel the presence of our Lord Jesus. Love, Maria
