Leslie's obituary

CALHOUN, Leslie Owen

November 14, 1934 - July 15, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Owen Calhoun, in his 91st year on Tuesday July 15, 2025, with the love of his family by his side. He joins his first love, Linda Mae Henderson in heaven. Beloved husband of Marilyn Fox-Calhoun. Proud father of Tracey Lyn Hughes, John Christopher (Melissa) Calhoun. Adoring grandfather of Sydney, Joshua, Erik, Owen, Brooke and many Great Grandchildren. Loving Brother of Lloyd (Dot) Calhoun and Lois Welch (deceased). Predeceased by his parents Orville and Gladys Calhoun. Special thanks to the staff at Maple Park Lodge for their compassionate care they provided Owen.

Abiding by Owen's wishes, cremation has taken place. Benner Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements. A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will take place on Saturday July 26th at 11 am at Lowville United Church, 5800 Guelph Line in Burlington, ON, followed by a reception at the Church Hall.

Memorial donations in Owen's honour may be made to the Lowville United Church, or to the Canadian Cancer Society, and would be appreciated by his family.
