Leroy William Beisert, 83, passed away on November 11, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife, Diana Beisert, father, Walter Beisert, mother, Emma Beisert, Sister Francis Beisert Gruetzner and husband Marvin, brother, Milton Beisert and wife Mildred, and sister Carolyn Beisert Drews. He is survived by his children, Laurie May and husband George and Glenn Beisert and wife Leesa, grandchildren, Heather Hendrix and husband Jason, Taylor Beisert and wife Shannon, Sarah Jones and husband Luke, Krystal May, and Meagan Hendrix and husband Josh, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Leroy was born in Lee County on June 25, 1939. He met his wife, Diana, at the Spillway Bar in Norco, LA; they were married for 57 years. They moved to the Spring Branch area of Houston where Leroy worked as a sheet rocker. In 1979 he moved his family to Cypress Texas and has been there ever since.

Leroy was a loving husband, father, brother, ‘Pampaw’, and friend. He enjoyed spending time at the Country Corner, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.  His BBQ skills were unmatched, and he loved putting out the food for his family and friends. Leroy had an infectious laugh that would light up the entire room and was loved by everybody that met him.   

 A Celebration of Life will be held on December 10, 2022 at The Country Corner at 1:00 pm until closing. We hope to see all that knew Leroy and bring your stories as we would all love to hear them.
