Leo's obituary

Leonel "Leo" Garcia, 65, of San Antonio, TX, peacefully passed away on February 26th after a battle with brain cancer.


Born in Rio Grande City to Horacio & Beatriz Garcia, Leonel was a strong and loving soul. Leo was passionate about family from the start and dedicated his life in helping his family.   In 1976, Leonel met his wife, Cidalia and went on to have three children Michelle, Joel and Amy. Leo put family first, always, and was a dedicated father. Leo was a proud Grandpa to eight grandchildren Naomi, Leslie, Cristian, Gabriel, Angel, Sophia, Isaiah and Penelope.  He was also a loving Great Grandfather to Oliver and Skyler.   Leo was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family.

Leo was also a passionate fisherman.  He spent most of his retirement  with his Grandkids.
Leonel leaves behind his siblings  Ismael Garcia, Aurora Salas, Horacio Jr, Israel and Abel and their loved ones.   Services to be determine at a later time.
