So sorry to hear of lens passing. Len and I struck acquaintances at speedway gas station in woodhaven. He definitely was a straw because there was no denying that you all look the same. Our conversations went back to when Junior high and part of high school we were together with Dale and Dan and kept joking about Taylor center all the time too when he would come in for a visit. I know I'm rambling and I know that he's been gone for a while but I do miss him and his funny little smile and his little quirks in his coffee that he would always come for the morning not always but he will come in for coffee my sympathies to all the family I know he is greatly missed and I too will miss seeing him.
I met Len along with his siblings when I was a little girl. They were a second family for me. Aunt Irene brought me home with her for days at a time. Len said I always showed up with a stack of books. Irene and I would visit in Florida. Len invited me to help celebrate his mother's birthday. The theme of the party was a casino. For years after that Len and I would phone each other and there were always laughs or political rants. Even my husband enjoyed his calls. Sometimes old memories were discussed or catching up on each others' family news. You must have my number in his phone. Please use it.
Michelle and Yvonne I am so very sorry for your loss. I know you will miss your fun loving father. I only just learned today of his passing. I will miss him as I have missed his mother, Aunt Irene and Uncle Lefty. My dad and Lefty had been friends since they were kids who shared a love of cars. My husband is Michael Murphy. The name your dad called me was Vicki Jo.
