It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Leonard DeVold on September 17, 2023. Leonard, born on June 7, 1949, was a beloved brother, friend, and community member whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew him.

He leaves behind his wife Joann Devold.  As well as his kids, Pam Houston (Derrick), Ron Devold, Meme Davis (Tyrone) Junior Devold (Mary) Tina Johnson (Charles) all of Baton Rouge, LA. Two sisters, Leann and Jeannie Devold of New Roads, LA. Three brothers John Devold, Sam Devold , and Richard David of New Roads, LA. Ten grandkids, Queela Devold, Terrance Hawkins, Greg Houston, Janiya Marks, Shanell Jones, Roni Bazile, Vanessa DeVold, Chris DeVold, and Desiree Johnson.He also had   a host of other loving family members and friends. His spirit, stories, and comforting smile will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

May Leonard's memory be a blessing to us all. We love you, Leonard, and will carry you in our hearts always.
