Leona's obituary

Leona Rose Smith, of Bremerton, WA, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at her home in Bremerton, WA.

Leone Rose Smith was born on October 30, 1930 in Leesburg, FL to Wilmer Wrenzer & Rosetta Smith. She loved keeping up with all her friends and family, facilitating Bible studies, entertaining others, telling stories, and most of all, being the Queen. Leona enjoyed suppers with family, listening to oldies and hymns, encouraging others, and sharing her love for Jesus with all. She was always making others laugh and there with a shoulder to cry on when needed. She had a sheer joy for life, family, and all who crossed her timeline.

Leona is survived by her brother Brian (Linda) Smith and her six children; Robert Sr. (Bianca) Fitzgerald, Brian (Deanna) Garrett, Carter (Jennifer) Fitzgerald, Suzi (Quinton) Mach, Steven (BillySue) Garrett, and Nate Garrett.

Leona is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Rosetta Smith, sister Janet Barnies, and husband; James Smith Sr., son, Bob Garrett, and grandson, Bill Garrett.
