Leon Ladson, 52, of Sumter, SC, peacefully passed away on February 24, 2023 after a rough battle with stage four cancer. Born in Sumter, SC, to Leeroy and Miranda Ladson, Leon was a very hardworking and joyful man. Leon was fiercely passionate about cars from the start and dedicated his life to both his pursuit of modeling cars and providing for his family.

After he graduated, Leon landed his first job as a mechanic with a group of old high school friends. This kickstarted a career in fixing cars for a living. In 2000, Leon met his ex-wife, Tonia and went on to have three children. Leon put family first, always, and was a dedicated father. Unfortunately, two out of the three children passed away at birth, but one still remains and attends the University of Caldwell in Caldwell, NJ.

Leon was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance were the foundation of his family.

Leon was also a passionate person and enthusiast. He spent most of his retirement battling cancer.
Leon was predeceased by his two daughters by the name of Destiny and Heaven Ladson and leaves behind his only and eldest son Ladorien "Leon" Ladson. No services will be held at this time and the family requests no donations or flowers be sent.
