Leon's obituary

Leon Edward Croissant, 74, Paynesville, MN, suddenly passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022. Leon worked at Honeywell in Golden Valley, MN as a welder and stocker. He loved his job and the many great co-workers he had. He would often lunch with many of them at the VFW and laugh together. Unfortunately, Leon had to retire due to a stroke. He lived in Paynesville, MN, on Rice Lake with his loving wife Marlene (56 years);. In his younger years, he played softball would bowl in many leagues with friends and family; this was a great joy. Throughout his life, Leon was an adamant fisherman. His most incredible catch was an eleven-pound walleye caught on a Zebco 202, fishing for crappies off his dock. During his final days, his oldest daughter Michelle Peterson and husband Mike Peterson took great care of him in their home. Leon is survived by his wife Marlene, his two children, Michelle Peterson and Rebecca Blahoski, his five grandchildren, Krystal, Kyle, Aaron, Sarah, and Anna, and one great-grandchild, Mason.
