Leo Allen, 84, of Moore, SC, passed away on May 15, 2022 after a brief illness.

Leo was born on [January20,1938] to Kitchner and Frances Hunt Allen] in [Telsa Honduras,CA]. After graduating he moved to Bronx,N.Y. ,later moved to Tabor City.N.C. He worked for himself building homes.He met  [Dot Jones] , he was bless to have 3 sons, Leo Allen,Jr. of Bronx N.Y.,Michael{Sherry} Allen,Gus Allen and one daughter Belinda {Terrell} Banks. One step-son Henry Jones.     Leo was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned.   Leo was also a passionate [fishing ] and could often be found [building something] when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Leo knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Leo was predeceased by his parents, brother Gustavo and sister Mavis].   The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to [Leeside funeral home]. There will be a [funeral service/memorial/celebration of life] at [May 15 @2:20P.M.] at [600 Old Bethel Road Moore,S.C.].
