Lenore's obituary
Born in Los Angeles, California on April 13, 1938, she was a devoted mother, an active member of the Parent Teacher Association at her children’s school and was also Girl Scout Co-Leader. In 1975 she formed The Travel Company, in Beverly Hills, California, which she successfully ran with her partners, Lila Fink and Sally Daskall for several years.
She married Fred Goodman in January of 1980 and together the two of them had many wonderful adventures including trips to Russia and China, and building a beautiful waterfront home on Whidbey Island in the state of Washington.
In 2005, she and Fred moved back to California to be closer to family. During Fred’s battle with Corticobasal Syndrome, her true love and devotion were evident.
She was proud to be the beloved wife of the late Dr. Frederick L. (Skip) Goodman; dear mother of Jennifer (Paul) Freudenberg and Stephen Jurwich and loving stepmother to Peter (Rhonda) Goodman, Tim (Darci) Goodman, Christopher (Kathryn) Goodman. She is saddened to leave behind a multitude of grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Fred, and her sister, Grace (Sam) Wallack.
Above all else, she loved her family and her canine fur-baby, Annie. She was passionate about helping and was a generous donor to many causes which helped both animals and people. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
