Lennox (Stormie)'s obituary
Our beautiful boy entered our life with a purpose, excitement, and joy. He was born one month early, on February 12, 2006, during the worst snowstorm we had ever experienced. Hence why Lennox Constantine Holloway was named Stormie by his Auntie Oz and he has been shaking up our world ever since.
To all the ancestors: Frederick Holder, Ruby Holder, Compton Waterton, Ula “Granny P” Williams, Connie Holloway, Constance Holloway, Cheryl Nunes, Lynn Sanders, Gloria Walker, Rochelle Reid, Nabeelah Abdul-Ghafur — please take care of our baby. Make sure you take him to the beach and let him dig into the sand; let him swim every day; charge his Ipad; let him take lots of pictures; draw with him daily; play his favorite Backyardigans song in Spanish; make sure he has his ribs, chicken, and turkey; and don’t forget to let him pack all his snacks in his book bag every day. Don’t forget to take him for his weekly Five Guys treat, and he can have a bagel occasionally and say BAYOU and SLEEP - his favorite words. Lastly, kiss and hug him constantly; he loved being loved and gave love unconditionally.
From preschool until 4th grade, Stormie stormed the hallways of Kelly Elementary School, where his teachers embraced him with love and support. In the 5th grade, Stormie entered Celebrate The Children School, where he was fiercely nurtured and cared for by the administrators, school leaders, teachers, and his classmates. The staff at Celebrate The Children took enormous pride in developing Stormie’s ability to live a healthy, happy, secure, creative, and meaningful life.
He leaves behind to honor his legacy his Mom and Dad, Nichelle Holder and Michael Holloway; the best sister and brother combo, Kai Holder and Harrison “Goodie” Holloway; the Greatest of All Aunts, Oslyn Holder Van Nuck, and the Greatest of All Uncles, Jeffrey Holloway; the most devoted and loving grandparents, Marleen “Nena” Holder and Lennox Holder; his other wonderful aunts and uncles Bobby Jo Lewis, Senekey Conover, Jeffrey Holloway, Patricia Holloway, and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
